ProScout Home Services was founded by brothers who spent years in the electrical and home standby generator trades. We kept seeing the same thing on every job site — homeowners who felt taken advantage of, talked over, or sold the wrong solution by contractors they had no way to vet.
Why we built this
Everyone has dealt with a bad contractor. Honestly, even us — and we do this for a living. We watched neighbors, family, and customers get burned by overpriced quotes, ghosted callbacks, and confusing recommendations that mostly served the contractor.
We didn't want to keep hearing those horror stories. So we built ProScout to be the thing we wished existed when we first walked into someone's house with a clipboard.
